Weekly Wrap-up

This week we accomplished two major things in our front yard.

Meet our newest addition to the family....a beautiful flower bed. It makes me smile!!!! :)
The other addition...a garden. At the far end are herbs and at the closest end tomatillo, tomato, zuchinni, acorn squash, and strawberry plants. In between is all seed....watermelon, corn, carrots, beets, raddish, sweet peas, green beans, and more. I just pray something, anything grows.

Then we just have general Ryko cuteness through out the week:
"Helping" plant flowers. I had many a holes to re-cover. ;P
Sporting a new sun hat!
Napping Al Bundy style.

Bike Ridin'
Excitedly playing with dad. :)
If that smile doesn't light up this world, then I don't know what does. : D
Ryko helped me make some gluten free fig bars modified to be gluten free from Dig This Chick's Fig-Apricot Bar Recipe. We also made a batch according to the original recipe. So yummy! And my mom even loved her gluten-free version. I must admit changing it to gluten-free did give me a bit of a run for my money.

Ryko's flour print hand on my shoulder. LOVE!!!!
The Gluten-Free Version of Fig-Apricot Bar
Also, Ryko and Daniel sure can rock out an R.C. truck:
Checking it out while the battery charges.
Ryko powers it while dad steers.

Last but most definitely not least is the amazing cuteness of Sunday morning Ryko time:

This is the wrap up of blowing a kiss. :)
Trying to hide a smile.

Wishing you a wonderful Sunday night full of fun moments to wrap up your week and lead you into a new one!

Magical Love

This morning was glorious! My boy who had already received my wrangled morning hug and kiss still caught me on my way out the door and says "mama" while puckering lips to imply he would like a kiss. Then he says "hugt" and opens his arms wide. Oh, magnificent bliss! This is the first time he has requested a morning hug and kiss on his own terms. It made my world! So naturally I wanted to capture a picture of him to commemorate the morning. I got an awesome one...
